Galapagos Island Hopping: San Cristobal, Española & Santa Cruz — 6 Days

07:00 pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the yacht. Forty minutes' sailing to Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido), a huge rock formation and the only place in Galapagos where you can snorkel with Galapagos hammerhead sharks, sea turtles and sea lions. Twenty minutes on, Cerro Brujo, with its volcanic formations and Galapagos seabirds. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, Punta Pitt for red-footed boobies and a beautiful beach, then Rosa Blanca Bay for a short walk and a swim in a large lava pool with Galapagos sharks, sea lions and sea turtles. Return to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

07:00 pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and transfer to the tourist pier for a two-hour sail to Española. One of the oldest islands in the archipelago, it is explored on a walk of around two hours past nesting marine iguanas, blue-footed and masked boobies and, in season from May to December, the waved albatrosses that fly in from the mainland to nest. Lunch on board, then 30 minutes' sailing to Gardner islet to snorkel with sea turtles, sea lions, rays and shoals of colourful fish. Two hours back to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.

06:30 pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the passenger pier, 06:45 check-in, 07:00 departure for the two-hour crossing to Santa Cruz. 09:30 hotel check-in and visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station: giant tortoises in captivity, the hatchling breeding centre, Lonesome George and the exhibition hall on the station's conservation work. Lunch at a restaurant on the island. In the afternoon, a 20-minute walk from the hotel to Las Grietas, deep natural volcanic channels filled with crystal-clear water where you can swim and snorkel, then time to relax and snorkel at Playa de los Alemanes. Return to the hotel.

08:00 pick-up in Puerto Ayora and transfer to the pier to board the yacht. Around 50 minutes' sailing to Pinzon Island for two snorkels with white-tip reef sharks, Galapagos sharks, sea turtles, sea lions and colourful reef fish. Lunch on board. Second snorkel at Santa Fe with reef sharks, manta rays and sea lions before sailing back to Puerto Ayora.

08:30 pick-up for Los Gemelos, two enormous volcanic sinkholes formed millions of years ago, ringed by endemic vegetation where Darwin's finches feed. Transfer to Baltra Airport and check-in for your flight. End of services.
